Polyurethane Raw Materials

Flexible Polyurethane Foam Raw Materials

flexible polyurethane foam for furnitureBayer offers a full range of polyurethane raw materials for the production of flexible polyurethane foam. Those products include Mondur® TD-65, TD-80 Grade A, TD-80 Grade A/B and TDS toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and Acclaim®, Arcol®, Multranol®, Softcel® and Ultracel™ polyether polyols. Also often called slabstock foam, the primary uses for flexible polyurethane foam are for cushioning in furniture and mattresses. Bayer also markets high-performance polyurethane foam raw materials to the automotive industry for vehicle seating, including Hyperlite® polymer polyols. Rigid Polyurethane Foam & Special Raw Materials

Bayer supplies polyurethane raw materials for diverse polyurethane applications in the construction industry. Rigid polyurethane foam is a key insulating material used in commercial and residential construction, such as for spray polyurethane foam roofing, polyurethane laminated panels, insulated sheathing, and single skin and foamed panels for garage doors and entry doors. Bayer also markets polyurethanes for binder applications such as particleboard, laminated-stranded lumber, moisture-resistant OSB rimboard, OSB web-stock and moisture-resistant OSB flooring. Additionally, there are numerous specialty uses of polyurethane raw materials as foundry core binders, track and field surfaces and wheels.
